"Eco Champions" -let's clean up our environment!

Donatus Primary School is a state school that caters for more than 1000 learners from grade 0 to grade 7. The school has a staff complement of 66 Teachers. The school also caters for a large number of orphans and vulnerable children. Hence, it offers a school feeding program whereby vulnerable learners receive one meal during breaktime. Although a state funded school, the school offers a safe and conducive learning environment for its learners and teachers.

Looking ahead!

Eco Champions team, from Donatus Primary School in Namibia, wants to carry out activities to clean their environment, the reason behind this is to promote a healthy environment. Their plan is to organise a cleaning up campaign in the school surroundings, teachers and learners will participate.

We want to clean our community by collecting rubbish waste and sorting them into recyclable and non-renewable waste.- Eco Champions team

What are the changes and actions needed in your country?

"In Namibia, we will need a whole round curriculum improvement."
